The Walter Clore Wine and Culinary Center is a centrally located, must-see, landmark destination that will promote farm to table agritourism by actively engaging visitors to learn, to experience and to appreciate the quality and diversity of Washington State’s food and wine products. The Center will be located in Prosser, Washington on Wine Country Road off I-82 between Yakima and the Tri-Cities. It overlooks the Yakima River westerly toward the Cascade Mountain Range. The diligent work of both the public and private sectors to bring funding to this project is a testament to Washington State’s commitment to the Center. Construction is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2009.
